There are no words to describe Shaina and Talk of the Town in general. What started out as a road that never seemed like it was going anywhere, has led to so many places. There were days when I cried in the middle of sessions because I never thought I would hear my daughter speak and Shaina held my hand, or simply hugged me and continued to work towards my daughters’ best interest. There were days when I was so overcome with joy, and Shaina showed almost the same joy I did. And there are days now when I simply text her to tell her the latest stories (YES stories) and she sends me a message back reminding me how far WE have come. It has always been about US, Shaina has worked with my daughter, her early intervention speech therapist (which has been an amazing partnership), my parents, her sister, her grandparents, her school staff- you name it to ensure my child’s interests are always at the top of everyone’s priority list. Shaina has worked effortlessly to make what seemed like the simplest things come out of her mouth, which then opened a world of possibilities for my daughter. There are a lot of people that are good at what they do, but to be good at what you do and to pour your heart and soul into it take on a whole new meaning. Thank you Shaina for providing only the best!

​Shaina has been working with our son for over 7 years, and he would tell you she is one of the closest people to him.  Shaina has helped him in the development of language, relatedness, critical thinking, problem solving, executive functioning, and social cognition.   We are indebted to her for years of patience, dedication, and the tremendous goals he has reached and surpassed-our son's accomplishments are incredible, and it has been under Shaina's guidance we have seen our son's amazing personal growth and interpersonal successes that we never thought possible.

​Shaina Rotstein is second to none when it comes to speech and language therapy. Our son was completely non-verbal and did not have an active ability to utilize his assistive technology device. Through Shaina's methodical and individualized approach, we have seen significant growth in both areas. She is kind, patient and brilliant with all facets of clinical communicative needs. Over a year ago, our daughter began therapy at Talk of the Town, and immediately we learned that Shaina and her team provided her with an unmatched level of treatment.  Their methods focus on adapting our daughter to natural environments and practical experiences, and the progress we have seen on a day-to-day basis has been remarkable.  Along the way, Shaina has connected with our daughter and our family, forming a relationship that is both special and beneficial for us all.  We are incredibly thankful for all Shaina and Talk of the Town has done for our daughter and our family.
